Avril has been in the academic field since 1979. She is also a qualified Counselor. For 30 years she has actively worked at the development of both students and teachers. She has constantly striven to lead by example. She has been and will continue to be a life long learner. Her kindness, patience, love, and dedication has touched many lives. She is a nature lover.
She has been a Reiki practitioner since 1986. Avril is an experienced meditator and meditation facilitator, using both Osho's and Deepak Chopra's techniques. She is also a Vipassana follower. In 1990 Avril did a Meditative Tarot course, that empowered her. It opened the spiritual realm and developed her intuition. The course brought meaning and increased Joy in her life.
Her mission statement is to live every moment with awareness because living with awareness fills the heart with Joy. This Joy can then be spread making this world a truly beautiful one.
